My photo and thumbnail (especially the thumbnail!) in the Juried Guild Members section are just terrible. I now have some very, very, VERY nice professional photos of my work; can I send a file to someone to have this photo changed? I would be happy to send the exact pixel size and resolution needed. I am attaching an example.
Also, my location is misspelled. I live in "Minnesota", not "Minisota". Thanks!

Hello,
The misspelling will be corrected. However, the photos used in the Juried section are to be of those that were presented during the jury process. If the Board wishes to change that policy I will be happy to make the change.

Janet - I think she means the ones in the Gallery, not the ones in the section where the actual jury applications are listed. I agree that the jury application photos cannot be changed, but I think it's fair to bring up to the Board the question of allowing updates to Gallery photos for juried members in good standing.
Jan, I'll bring this up at the next meeting.

Hello Dianne,
I am talking about the Gallery. My instructions are--- when a jury member is accepted I am to pick a photo from those submitted and put it in the gallery. It is to be such that it is different from what is presently shown so we have a variety.
Thank you.
Janet P.S. Kindly bring up who should be back up for the website when Sue is not able to make corrections (no I am not voluteering- full plate). Needs to be a disaster plan and someone who is more knowledgeable of html than me. A lot of work needs to be done - clean up if you will. Sue is swamped.

I've already asked her to add me as a top level admin. I have some admin capabilities, but I'm not able to access everything. I haven't heard back yet, but will stay on top of this.

Dianne, I will help when/where I can. I just don't feel confident working on some parts of the html. Point and direct and I will do what I can. Received an e-mail today and will talk with Sue to see how much web access I have. Between the two of us we shall see what can get accomplished. Janet

Had a nice short chat with Sue, and feel better about what I can do and instructions of what needs to be done. Bless her heart, you know it is bad when you can't fix a bad hair day! Keep Sue in your thoughts. |

I looked at the existing photo and agree the new one is far better and since some of the Board does not object, it has been changed.
