Okay I'm getting brave. This is my own design and all parts (except the agate of course ) are made by myself. I used 20 gauge soft sterling for the headpins, 24 gauge copper for the accents and 20 gauge 1/2 hard silver for the ear wires. Any and all comments are welcome. Afterall, I'm still learning. Hopefully the picture has enough detail.

Very pretty!  I like how you have the wire going up the bead with the loops.  Great way to add detail and keep the square beads in place.

I agree with Carol.   I am also impressed with how uniform you made the earwires. Great job! The loops at the top to attch the earwires are also very well done.

One of my pet peeves are earrings that do not have nice round uniform loops. You see them all the time on TV with jewelry being sold. ack!

Hi Pam

I like the loops on the stones as a decorative accent.  It looks to me like the copper wrapping on the top of the right earring and the bottom of the left earring got a bit crushed???  They look a bit uneven to me.  The ones on the top left and bottom right are nice and even though.  The loop decoration on the stones is in mirror image - that's a detail that some people miss, believe it or not!  I like the way the light catches the hammering on the spirals.

Thanks for sharing this with us!

Thank you all for your comments. It is greatly appreciated. Carol, I agree with you, I think some of my copper wrapping did get crushed and that's something I know I need to look out for in the future. I may have gotten over zealous when trying to get the end down.  Still trying to hone down my techniques. Practice, Practice, Practice they say.
